The Influence of Dihydrostreptomycin on the Tubaculotoxin

Abstract

|
The effects of the toxin, which are produced by the TB bacilli, on the heart, lung, liver, visceral muscle, uterine. muscle and peripheral vascular system of the experimental animals are already described in previous works. The SM on the media which growed TB bacilli aimed to know whether the SM directly inhibit the growing of TB bacilli or only weakened. The effects of the Froduced toxin, although we couldn´t clear for it does any actions. We have observed and confirmed that the weakened action of frog´s heart beat is inhibited by adding -)i media which` growed TB bacilli. By this experiment it is not certain whether the effect of SM acted on the frog´s heart beat directly or caused by produced toxin effects are inhibited by SM for growing of bacteria. However biologically active substances (it is presumed a toxin) are produced during the culture of TB bacilli on the liquid media. And the action of this toxin is weakened by adding the SM in the media.
